Angelica Jensen’s Dramatic Debut on Vanderpump Rules

Angelica Jensen made a memorable entrance on Vanderpump Rules during Season 12, Episode 3. As the show's new hostess, she was introduced to the SUR team during an annual photo shoot. However, things didn’t go as planned when she tripped over camera and lighting equipment, causing her to fall to the floor.

In an exclusive interview with The Daily Dish, Angelica described the incident as one of the “craziest” moments of the season. She explained that her tight dress and high heels made it difficult for her to lift her leg, leading to the mishap. “Lisa gave me the most gracious intro. She was like, ‘Everybody, this is Angelica,’ and I, like, splatted,” she said.

The cast responded with applause as Angelica got back up, unharmed. In a confessional, she joked about the situation, saying, “Maybe not my ideal first impression, but I feel like it really grounded me, in a way. Maybe this worked in my favor, because now people are going to want to be nice to me, right? Like, who's gonna want to be mean to the girl that just ate s–t?”

Who Is Angelica Jensen?

Angelica is the newest member of the SUR staff and has quickly made an impact on the cast. According to her official bio on DISCOVERTREND, she has her sights set on modeling, acting, and connecting with friends Jason Cohen and Shayne Davis. However, a game of broken telephone threatens their potential relationships.

Career and Education

Angelica shared details about her background during her first shift at SUR. She mentioned that she wasn't unfamiliar with being "the new girl" due to her upbringing. “My dad was in the Navy, so I have been to 13 grade schools, three middle schools, and three high schools,” she said. She holds a psychobiology degree from UCLA, which is essentially neuroscience.

“I was a scholar, but I could not pay rent. So, then I started serving. I prioritized other hobbies, like boys,” she added. During a job interview, she also revealed that she practiced Taekwondo for 10 years and even won a state championship title.

A Restaurant Industry Background

Angelica told The Daily Dish that she brought over a decade of restaurant industry experience to her new role at SUR. “That's the rite of passage in L.A. if you're going to go into the entertainment industry,” she remarked. She studied neuroscience at UCLA but realized it wasn’t for her. “I kept fainting every time I drew blood. Then I was like, 'Oh my God, but I can be on Grey's Anatomy.'”

She continued, “Now, I do acting, I have my own clothing company, and I kind of just dip my feet into all of it.”

What to Know About Vanderpump Rules Season 12

Vanderpump Rules is back for Season 12, with new episodes airing Tuesdays at 9/8c on DISCOVERTREND and streaming the next day on Peacock. The cast includes Venus Binkley, Jason Cohen, Shayne Davis, Chris Hahn, Angelica Jensen, Marcus Johnson, Audrey Lingle, Natalie Maguire, Demy Selem, and Kim Suarez.

Fans will have to wait to see how the cast navigates working at Lisa Vanderpump’s iconic West Hollywood eatery, but the Season 12 trailer hints at heated confrontations, NSFW drama, and plenty of action in the SUR alley.

Angelica’s Dating Life

In the Dec. 16 episode, Angelica revealed she was “newly single.” After some mutual flirting with fellow SUR newbie Jason, she admitted she hadn’t fully left her last relationship. “So, I still live with my ex,” she confessed to Jason during a pool day. “This is actually the person that I wanted to marry and, like, have kids with, but they didn't want to be with me anymore. Yeah, they kept saying, like, 'We're not compatible.'"

In a confessional, she added, “I love love, so I find myself in relationships pretty quickly. I move in after three months. ... My red flag is that I'll accidentally say I love you during sex.”

Despite this, Jason declared he was still attracted to her and wanted to hang out more. Angelica replied, “I would probably say yes if he invited me to go somewhere.”
