Whitney Leavitt's Holiday Rom-Com Debut

Whitney Leavitt Expands Her Career with New Film and Broadway Role

Whitney Leavitt is taking her career to new heights. Known for her role in The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, the actress has recently announced her film debut as an executive producer and star of All for Love, a holiday rom-com set to release in 2026. This exciting news was shared on social media, where she posted a message alongside her costar Jesse Kove. The post read, “Here’s your Christmas present… but you can’t open it till next year.” It also included a mention of Deadline’s announcement of the movie.

In All for Love, Whitney plays Winona, a podcaster who tests the theory of finding love online after accepting a lucrative partnership with a dating app. Through the app, Winona meets Jesse’s character Luke and begins to wonder how the sweet guy from her DMs can also be her grandmother’s rough and tough contractor.

This new project marks a significant step in Leavitt’s career, showcasing her versatility beyond television. The film is expected to be wrapped up with a bow by Ninth House Films, adding to the excitement surrounding its release.

A Busy Schedule: From Dancing to Broadway

Leavitt has been keeping herself busy with various projects. Recently, she made an impressive run on Dancing With the Stars for season 34. Although she was eliminated from the ballroom floor with Mark Ballas, her journey didn’t end there. She was revealed as the newest Roxie Hart, joining the cast of Chicago on Broadway for a six-week stint beginning in February.

“Grateful beyond words to ANNOUNCE that I will be joining @chicagomusical in the iconic role of Roxie Hart,” she wrote in a post on Instagram Dec. 1. “See you in New York City!”

While her DWTS run certainly helped her sashay over to Broadway, it was the relationships formed that Whitney cherishes most from her time on the show.

“You grow real friendships and real connections with these people,” Whitney said of her experience in a Nov. 20 Instagram video. “You learn so much about yourself and people who lift you constantly, and you challenge yourself. You just feel so loved.”

A Journey of Growth and Determination

Despite not taking home the Mirrorball trophy, the mom of three has always had her eye on the prize. In fact, she admitted during season three of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives that she only returned to the hit Hulu series—despite recurring drama with her fellow MomTokers—to score a spot in the ballroom.

“After last season, I did decide to step away from the show, but I never quit MomTok,” she said in a confessional interview. “I was always in MomTok, still a part of that group. I just really needed a break, but then I heard from my team Dancing With the Stars was going to cast someone from The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, and that’s a motivator. I'll come back for that.”

Leavitt’s journey reflects her dedication and passion for her craft. From television to film and now to Broadway, she continues to expand her horizons and inspire her fans.

Looking Ahead: Exciting Projects in the Pipeline

With All for Love set for a 2026 release and her upcoming role in Chicago, Whitney Leavitt is clearly on a path of continued success. Fans are eagerly anticipating what’s next for the talented actress and influencer. As she balances her personal life with her professional endeavors, Leavitt remains a dynamic force in the entertainment industry.
