Beat to Honor King Crimson on 2026 European Tour
Beat Announces 2026 European Tour
Beat, the all-star collective dedicated to honoring the music of King Crimson from the 1980s, is set to embark on an extensive European tour this summer. The supergroup, which includes King Crimson alumni Adrian Belew and Tony Levin, along with guitarist Steve Vai and drummer Danny Carey from Tool, will begin its journey on June 8 in London. The tour will take them through Paris, Munich, Prague, Vienna, Barcelona, Istanbul, and numerous other cities before concluding on July 17 in Cmielow, Poland.
“BEAT is coming to Europe in the summer of 2026 to celebrate the incredible 1980s music of King Crimson,” said a joint statement from Beat and Vai on social media. “It’s going to be a powerful run of shows, and we’d love for you to be part of it. Tickets for most dates are available now—don’t wait, grab yours now!”

Details About the 2026 Tour
The tour follows the release of Beat Live, an album recorded during a 2024 concert in Los Angeles. The set list features songs from King Crimson’s trio of 1980s albums: Discipline (1981), Beat (1982), and Three of a Perfect Pair (1984). While the band remains focused on performing classic King Crimson tracks, they have not ruled out the possibility of recording new music in the future.
“Right now, the goal is to honor this King Crimson music the best we can and play anywhere that’ll take us,” Belew told UCR in early 2025. “But that has a shelf life, obviously. Because once you’ve toured the world with it, I wouldn’t want to go back out and tour the whole world again doing the same thing. Because there’s way too many things to do.”
