El Paso Symphony Orchestra Celebrates 95th Anniversary
The El Paso Symphony Orchestra is set to commemorate its 95th anniversary with a series of events kicking off this weekend at the Plaza Theatre. Music Director Bohuslav Rattay expressed his excitement about the milestone, highlighting how music has the power to unite people and create lasting connections. “Music brings us together, creating moments of connection that resonate long after the final note has played,” he said in a press release.
The symphony’s 95th season will feature performances on Friday and Saturday, September 19-20, at 7:30 p.m. The orchestra will be joined by Aristo Sham, the gold medal winner of the 2025 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition. Additionally, the ensemble will present Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 4, offering audiences a chance to experience one of the most iconic works in classical music.
Single tickets for the classical concerts are available for purchase, with prices ranging from $17 to $49, plus fees. Student tickets are also offered at $9 and $12, plus fees. DJ Steve Aoki Returns to El Paso
