Gina Torres Joins Fox’s ‘Memory of a Killer’ in a Major Role

Gina Torres, known for her acclaimed performances in television and film, has joined the cast of Fox’s upcoming drama series Memory of a Killer. The show, inspired by the 2003 Belgian film De Zaak Alzheimer, is a dramatic thriller that follows Patrick Dempsey as Angelo Doyle, a hitman leading a dangerous double life while concealing a devastating secret—early onset Alzheimer’s disease.

Torres will play Linda Grant, an FBI agent with a sharp mind and relentless determination. As a seasoned and tenacious investigator, Grant becomes a central antagonist to Angelo, setting the stage for a high-stakes conflict that threatens to expose his many secrets.

The series also features Michael Imperioli as Dutch, Angelo’s oldest friend and a chef who runs a restaurant that serves as a front for criminal activity. Other key cast members include Richard Harmon as Joe, a hitman; Odeya Rush as Maria, Angelo’s daughter; Daniel David Stewart as Jeff, Maria’s husband; and Peter Gadiot as Dave, a local police detective.

Memory of a Killer is produced by Warner Bros. Television and Fox Entertainment. The project is developed by Ed Whitmore and Tracey Malone, who serve as executive producers alongside Cathy Schulman of Welle Entertainment and David Schulner.
