Brooke Hogan Steps Back from Legal Matters Involving Her Father’s Estate

As the daughter of the legendary wrestler Hulk Hogan, Brooke Hogan has been navigating a complex emotional and legal journey following her father’s passing. Known for her career as a singer and television personality, she recently made the decision to step away from any legal proceedings related to her father’s estate. This move came after years of tension and disagreement over how her father’s legacy and finances should be handled.

According to insiders who spoke with TMZ, Brooke made the request in 2023 to be removed from her father’s will. Her primary concern was that she did not trust the people around Hulk at the time, and she didn’t want to be involved in a potential financial battle after his death. Her main goal, as sources explained, was always to protect her father from those who might take advantage of him. However, after years of conflict, she ultimately reached out to the late wrestling icon’s financial manager to formally remove herself from the will.

Brooke has consistently emphasized that her motivation was never about gaining wealth from her father’s estate. She stated that she had no interest in inheriting his fortune, and she is content with not receiving anything from his estate. Despite this, she will still receive a portion of money from a small life insurance trust that Hulk set up. As one of the beneficiaries, she expressed gratitude for the funds and plans to use them for her children’s college education.

The details surrounding the distribution of Hulk Hogan’s entire estate, including his trademarks, properties, and other assets, remain unclear. The WWE legend passed away at the age of 71 due to cardiac arrest. Following his death, WWE released a statement expressing their condolences:

"WWE is saddened to learn WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has passed away. One of pop culture’s most recognizable figures, Hogan helped WWE achieve global recognition in the 1980s. WWE extends its condolences to Hogan’s family, friends, and fans."

In the weeks leading up to his death, there were rumors circulating about Hulk Hogan’s health. Radio host Bubba the Love Sponge suggested that the WWE champion was in declining health. At the time, Hulk’s wife, Sky, addressed these claims on social media. She denied that Hulk was in a coma or experiencing any serious health complications.

“No, he's definitely not in a coma!” she posted on her Instagram Stories. “His heart is strong, and there was never any lack of oxygen or brain damage... none of those rumors are true.”

Sky also shared details about her husband’s recent medical procedures. She explained that Hulk had undergone a major four-level Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion (ACDF) surgery, which involves removing damaged discs and fusing vertebrae together. This type of surgery requires a long recovery period, often involving tubes for breathing and eating, as well as extensive rehabilitation.

She added: “If you look it up, you'll see what the last six weeks have involved... not just for his spine, but also for his vocal cords, and the eating/breathing tubes that are clamped over during surgery. We've been in and out of the hospital to support that recovery. So truly, there's no need for the drama or panic some people try to stir up. He's healing, and we're taking it one day at a time with love, strength, and patience.”

Hulk Hogan’s passing marks the end of an era for the wrestling world. His legacy as a cultural icon and a pioneer in the industry remains intact, and his family continues to deal with the emotional and logistical challenges of managing his estate. For Brooke Hogan, the decision to step back from legal matters reflects her desire to focus on her personal life and ensure that her father’s wishes are respected.
