Green Bay High School Sports Results: Sept. 16 Update

Girls Volleyball Results
Luxemburg-Casco dominated Denmark with a score of 25-11, 26-24, 25-23. Alayna Deprez led the Spartans with 27 assists and seven digs, while Aubrey Frey contributed 21 kills and 11 digs. Claire Schleis added seven kills and three aces, and Rylan Kaminski recorded 21 digs. Coach Jeff Frey praised the team’s resilience, noting that Denmark made them work for their victory in the second and third sets.
Fox Valley Lutheran defeated Seymour with a score of 25-18, 25-10, 25-5. Brianna Dahlke and Brianna Stewart each had seven kills, and Ellie Hayes added six. Kenzie Loberger led with 17 assists, Riley Schmitz with eight digs, and Sammie Thomas with seven aces.
Xavier swept Shawano 25-9, 25-14, 25-15. Sydney Neilitz contributed 21 assists and four aces, Grace Hackl had 15 digs and four aces, and Lexi Allen and Rose Kendall each scored seven kills. Bella Daley added five kills, Braelee Kiepert added four kills, and Lily Renz had four aces.
Crivitz won against Coleman with a score of 25-20, 25-17, 25-17. Addi Rehberg provided 14 assists and two kills, Halli Dorschner had 10 assists, Izzy Wesoloski recorded 11 digs and two aces, Ellie Goltz had eight digs, Kiya Brand added 13 digs, seven kills, and three aces, Marli Meyers had 13 kills and nine digs, Brecken Ott contributed eight digs and six kills, and Peyton Rehberg added four digs, two kills, and two aces. On the opposing side, Alayna Gilbertson had 26 digs and five attack kills, Kailyn Hanrahan had 30 digs, Ella Van Ermen had eight digs and eight assists, and Hailey Rosner had six digs.
Suring defeated St. Thomas Aquinas Academy with a score of 25-10, 25-13, 26-24. Chloe Schroeder led with 33 assists, and Aliya Cox had 11 kills.
Wabeno/Laona outlasted Bonduel in nonconference action with a score of 25-16, 25-14, 23-25, 25-18.
Boys Volleyball Results
Kaukauna swept Green Bay Notre Dame with a score of 25-22, 25-22, 25-19. Mav Kelderman was a key player with 13 kills and 10 digs, while Grant Ashbrenner had nine kills, Clay Torry added eight kills and two blocks, Sam Hussin contributed 36 assists and two aces, Donovan Waters had four aces, and Brennan Novy recorded nine digs.
Boys Soccer Results
Green Bay Preble defeated Green Bay Southwest 5-0. Carter Walker Allen, Tyson Vang, Huj Chi Vang, Jay Cruz, and Ricky Alvarado each scored for the Hornets. Eli Alexander and Landon Gauthier combined for three saves to secure the shutout.
Notre Dame defeated Ashwaubenon 8-0. Liam West scored five goals, Braden Maxfield added two, and Jacob Davister scored one.
De Pere beat Bay Port 3-0. Maxim Skurka scored twice, and Brady Shanda added one goal. Logan Nycz made two saves for De Pere.
Sheboygan North defeated Pulaski 2-1. Aaron Cortez scored the game-winning goal in the 58th minute, assisted by Nathaniel Cortez. Juan Escobar also assisted on the goal. Pulaski’s goal came from Noal Pratt in the 67th minute. Jonah Drevs made seven saves for Pulaski, and Jacob Knowles made eight saves for Sheboygan North.
Wrightstown defeated Luxemburg-Casco 4-1. Wrightstown improved to 2-4-1 overall and 2-1 in conference play, while Luxemburg-Casco dropped to 3-3-1 overall and 0-1-1 in conference.
Clintonville defeated Providence Academy 3-2. Kellan Landes and Paul Marek added assists, and Brady Cox made 12 saves in net for Providence.
Fox Valley Lutheran defeated Green Bay West 14-0. Ezra Schaser scored five goals, and Kaleb Williams, Mason Stark, Tyler Martin, Austin Zanto, Jackson Dedow, Jose Martinez, Jackson Mayer, Dylan Kraftzenk, and JJ Minzlaff each scored single goals. Zanto and Williams both had three assists, and Braydon Kaster had two. Justin Miller recorded the shutout in goal, while Vincent Moyano made 15 saves for Green Bay West.
