He praised “Chapter One,” calling it his favorite and most eventful first episode since season one. Duffer wrote, “‘The Crawl’ is our favorite, most eventful first episode since season one.”

When it came to the second episode, titled “The Vanishing of…,” Duffer was more cryptic but still provided some intriguing details. He mentioned that the cold open of this episode is the craziest they’ve ever done and one of the sequences they’re most proud of this season. The title is a callback to the very first episode, “The Vanishing of Will Byers,” but with the name blurred out, leaving fans guessing who might be in danger next. Some theories suggest that little Holly Wheeler, Mike’s younger sister, could be the next target.

Chapters Three and Four of Stranger Things 5 Are Classic Stranger Things Episodes
