Where Are They Now: The Stargate Atlantis Cast

The Journey of the "Stargate Atlantis" Cast
While science fiction franchises like "Alien," "Star Trek," "Godzilla," "Star Wars," and "Independence Day" have maintained a strong presence in modern entertainment, the universe of "Stargate" has not achieved the same level of cultural relevance. Despite its potential, neither the original 1994 film nor its spin-off TV series has managed to sustain the same level of popularity over time. When the Syfy channel canceled "Stargate Atlantis" in 2009, it marked the beginning of the end for the franchise. Although there was hope that sequel films would keep the series alive, this did not come to fruition. The cancellation of "Stargate Atlantis" signified a turning point, as it had one of the most appealing ensembles in television sci-fi history.
