In the previous season, Wednesday successfully saved her classmates at Nevermore Academy from a monstrous creature, a wicked teacher, and a malevolent pilgrim named Joseph Crackstone. As a result, she has become the most famous student at the school, much to her dismay. However, with fame comes challenges, especially since the first season ended with an eerie message from someone stalking Wednesday.

Lady Gaga has made a guest appearance in season two of "Wednesday." Her involvement was confirmed during her performance at the Netflix Tudum 2025 event on May 31, where she performed a medley of songs. Though details about her role remain scarce, Netflix described her character as "Mysterious and enigmatic, Rosaline Rotwood is a legendary Nevermore teacher who crosses paths with Wednesday."
