At a recent White House press briefing, the Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, addressed concerns regarding the late sex offender and financier, Jeffrey Epstein. She emphasized that there is currently no evidence to suggest that Epstein had any connections to foreign or domestic intelligence agencies.

The question was raised by a reporter who asked whether it could be ruled out that Epstein was involved with any intelligence operations. In response, Gabbard stated, “I haven’t seen any evidence or information that reflects that. If anything comes before me that changes that in any way, support the president’s statement loud and clear. If any credible evidence comes forward, he wants the American people to see it.”

This statement came after the Trump administration abruptly ended its inquiry into Epstein's affairs, prompting various theories about his activities and associations. Some critics have speculated that Epstein may have been linked to foreign entities, particularly given the mysterious nature of his wealth and influence.

One prominent figure, Tucker Carlson, has suggested that Epstein may have been working with Israeli intelligence. At a recent conference, Carlson posed several rhetorical questions about Epstein’s background and financial success:

“The real question is, why was he doing this, on whose behalf, and where did the money come from?” he asked. “And I think the real answer is Jeffrey Epstein was working on behalf of intel services, probably not American.”

Carlson went on to highlight the stark contrast between Epstein’s early career as a math teacher at the Dalton School in the late 1970s—without a college degree—and his later life, which included multiple airplanes, a private island, and a large Manhattan residence. He questioned how someone with such modest beginnings could accumulate so much wealth and influence.

He also pointed to Epstein’s direct connections with a foreign government, though he noted that discussing such possibilities is often considered taboo in public discourse. “There is nothing wrong with saying that. There is nothing hateful about saying that. There is nothing anti-Semitic about saying that,” he said.

Carlson argued that the reluctance to openly discuss Epstein’s potential ties to foreign governments has led to growing resentment and hostility online. He claimed that many in Washington, D.C., believe Epstein was acting on behalf of a foreign entity but feel unable to voice their suspicions publicly.

“I’ve never met anyone who doesn’t think that,” he said. “I don’t know any of them that hate Israel. But no one feels they can say that. Why? And I think the longer we play along with it, the more subterranean and creepy and hateful the conversation becomes.”

He concluded that it would be better for people to speak openly about these concerns rather than allowing them to fester in the shadows. “So, I think it’s better just to say it right out loud.”
