STARZ August 2025 Schedule: A Diverse Lineup of Movies and TV Shows

STARZ has unveiled an exciting lineup of movies and TV shows that will be available on the service in August. The schedule features a mix of new premieres, returning series, and classic films, offering something for every viewer.

One of the highlights of the month is the double-episode premiere of Outlander: Blood of My Blood, a time-traveling prequel to the acclaimed drama Outlander. This series introduces two new couples who fans can fall in love with, expanding the world of the original show. The prequel explores the lives and relationships of two couples as they fight against all odds to be together, providing origin stories for fan-favorite characters from early seasons of Outlander.

Another notable debut is the immersive five-part docuseries Magic City: An American Fantasy, which offers an unfiltered look inside Atlanta’s iconic strip club. The series delves into the club’s storied history and its role as a cultural hub, featuring interviews with high-profile celebrities such as 2 Chainz, Nelly, and Quavo. It also provides a platform for the lives of the many women who work there and are responsible for building the club’s mystique.

In addition, BMF Season Four comes to a gripping close with the season’s final three episodes. The series continues the journey inspired by real-life street legends and brothers, Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory and Terry “Southwest T” Flenory, who created one of the most influential crime families in the country.

Highlights of the Month

OUTLANDER: BLOOD OF MY BLOOD

After 11 years of epic romance on the groundbreaking series Outlander, the timeless tale continues — or rather begins — on the eve of an earlier Jacobite rebellion. The prequel explores the lives and relationships of two couples as they fight against all odds to be together. The series stars Hermione Corfield as Julia Moriston, Jeremy Irvine as Henry Beauchamp, Harriet Slater as Ellen MacKenzie, and Jamie Roy as Brian Fraser. Additional cast members include Tony Curran as Simon Fraser, Lord Lovat, Séamus McLean Ross as Colum MacKenzie, Sam Retford as Dougal MacKenzie, Rory Alexander as Murtagh Fitzgibbons Fraser, and Conor MacNeill as Ned Gowan.

New episodes of Outlander: Blood of My Blood will air weekly on Fridays at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on STARZ in the U.S. and at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT in Canada.

MAGIC CITY: AN AMERICAN FANTASY

“Magic City: An American Fantasy” is a riveting docuseries that takes viewers on a wild and unexpected ride detailing the legendary club’s storied history as a cultural hub in Atlanta. Having evolved into the definitive king-maker in the hip-hop community, the club caters to high-profile celebrities such as 2 Chainz, Nelly, Shaquille O’Neal, Quavo, Killer Mike and Big Boi, all of whom share their firsthand Magic City experiences in exclusive interviews. Additionally, the docuseries offers a powerful platform for the lives of the many women who work there and are responsible for building the club’s mystique.

On linear, “Magic City: An American Fantasy” will debut on August 15 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on STARZ in the U.S., immediately following the season finale of “BMF.” Remaining episodes will air weekly on Fridays at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. In Canada, the premiere airs at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT on August 15, with subsequent episodes airing Fridays at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT.

BMF SEASON 4

“BMF” Season Four continues the journey inspired by real-life street legends and brothers, Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory and Terry “Southwest T” Flenory, who created one of the most influential crime families in the country. This season, as Meech and Terry fight to keep their American Dream alive, staying ahead of their rivals and law enforcement takes a toll on their relationship. New episodes will air weekly on all STARZ streaming and on-demand platforms and on the linear platform on Fridays at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT in the U.S. and 10:00 p.m. ET in Canada.
