Scheffler's Impossible Win: BMW Championship 2025 Payouts Revealed

Scottie Scheffler Secures Victory at 2025 BMW Championship
Scottie Scheffler once again solidified his position as the most dominant player in golf by claiming victory at the 2025 BMW Championship. The event, held at Caves Valley Golf Club, saw the Texan overcome a significant deficit to outperform Robert MacIntyre, who had been leading for much of the tournament.
Scheffler started the final day four strokes behind MacIntyre but delivered a composed performance with a final round of three under par (69), which was enough to take the lead and secure the win. This comeback is yet another example of why Scheffler remains at the top of the sport, adding his fifth title of the year to an already impressive 2025 season that includes two major championships.
MacIntyre, on the other hand, struggled during the final round, finishing with a three-over-par score. Despite this, he still managed to finish in second place, earning a career-best prize of $2.16 million. His performance throughout the weekend had been strong, but the pressure from Scheffler proved too much to handle in the end.
With this win, Scheffler has extended his lead in the FedEx Cup standings, ensuring his position as the top contender heading into the season-ending Tour Championship next week. His consistency and ability to perform under pressure have made him a formidable force in the sport.
Strong Performances from Other Top Players
Maverick McNealy finished in third place at 11 under par, while Sam Burns and Tommy Fleetwood tied for fourth at 10 under par. Fleetwood, in particular, continues to show strong form, securing a top-five finish in both events of the 2025 FedEx Cup Playoffs. Although he has not yet claimed a PGA Tour victory, his recent performances have given him confidence ahead of the final playoff at East Lake.
Harry Hall also made a notable impact, finishing sixth overall and moving into 26th place in the FedEx Cup standings. This places him within the top 30, qualifying him for the Tour Championship. Hall, an Englishman with growing potential, will now compete for the $10 million individual prize.
Meanwhile, Rickie Fowler fell short of the final event after a poor back nine, tying for seventh and missing the top 30. His performance was a disappointment, as he failed to make it to the season finale.
