Rosie O’Donnell’s Call to Keep the Conversation Alive

Rosie O’Donnell has been vocal in her efforts to keep the conversation about Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein alive. The comedian and former talk show host recently shared a message on social media, urging people to "keep talking about Trump and Epstein." This statement comes as she highlights the connection between the former president and the late sex offender, who died in prison in 2019 while awaiting trial for federal sex trafficking charges.

During his 2020 re-election campaign, Trump promised to release the so-called Epstein files, a set of documents related to the federal investigation into Epstein’s alleged crimes. However, he has since reneged on this promise, leading to increased speculation and conspiracy theories surrounding the documents. Many believe that these files could implicate high-profile individuals, which has only fueled further controversy.

O’Donnell and Trump have had a long-standing rivalry that dates back to when she criticized him on The View. More recently, Trump has made threats against her, including suggesting he might revoke her American citizenship. On July 12, he posted on Truth Social, stating, "Because of the fact that Rosie O’Donnell is not in the best interests of our Great Country, I am giving serious consideration to taking away her Citizenship. She is a Threat to Humanity, and should remain in the wonderful Country of Ireland, if they want her. GOD BLESS AMERICA!"

In an interview on Ireland AM earlier this month, O’Donnell labeled Trump a "criminal," expressing growing concerns about the state of the country. "It’s worse every day. I feel like we’re in a dystopian nightmare, and no one is doing anything about it." She moved to Ireland in January and is currently working on obtaining Irish citizenship.

Her recent Instagram post, which features the text "Keep talking about Trump and Epstein" in a red box, is a direct response to Trump’s decision to backtrack on his promise to release the Epstein files. O’Donnell believes that by shifting the focus away from the issue, Trump is trying to avoid scrutiny.

On July 7, the Trump administration announced it would not release any additional documents related to Epstein's crimes, including a potential list of clients involved in child sex trafficking. This decision sparked backlash from some of Trump’s supporters. In response, billionaire Elon Musk took to X (formerly Twitter) to suggest that Trump was "in the Epstein files," which explained his refusal to release them.

Trump has responded to these claims by telling his followers not to "waste Time and Energy on Jefferey Epstein." He has also shown frustration when questioned about his relationship with Epstein, at times referring to him as "a guy who never dies." Additionally, Trump has claimed that the Epstein files were fabricated by former FBI Director James Comey, former President Barack Obama, and the Biden administration. However, U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi previously stated that the files were available for review in February.

O’Donnell’s post is part of a broader effort to ensure that the public does not forget about the Epstein files. She hopes that continued discussion will eventually lead to their release. Her message serves as a reminder that the conversation around Trump and Epstein remains relevant and important.

As the debate continues, many are watching closely to see whether the Epstein files will ever be made public and what impact they could have on the political landscape. For now, voices like O’Donnell’s continue to push for transparency and accountability.
