They described her as a "beloved member of the Blackstone family" who was "brilliant, passionate, warm, generous, and deeply respected." Aland Etienne: A Dedicated Security Officer

Aland Etienne, a security guard working at 345 Park Avenue, was also killed in the shooting. He was represented by the 32BJ SEIU union, which shared its condolences with the families of the victims. The union president, Manny Pastreich, called Etienne a "dedicated security officer" who took his job seriously.
