He added that while his family has a strong bond, it wasn’t always easy growing up. “We had a good family, don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t want to change it for the world, but it wasn’t like everything was easy,” Cuban reflected.

He stressed the value of authenticity, especially in an industry where many people struggle to be genuine. “Just from the outside looking in, I think why you’ve been so successful is that you’re authentic,” he said. “You are who you are, right? You smile, you know, you don’t try to push things on people.”
