Live in the Community Teams Up with Tea Mochi to Spread Joy

A Sweet Surprise for a Local Resident

In the heart of Shreveport, Louisiana, a community initiative known as "Live! in the Community" partnered with a local boba teahouse called Tea Mochi to spread some joy through sweet treats. This collaboration was part of the Cares Krewe's efforts to support residents and make their day a little brighter.

During one of these events, Brittany, a local resident, had just finished a job interview and decided to treat herself to a drink and a donut. She regularly visits Tea Mochi because of the appealing presentation of the drinks. “I have a few pictures on my phone. The drinks are just aesthetically pleasing!” she shared with Shelli Briery Murphy, the Advertising and Public Relations Manager with Live! Casino & Hotel.

Brittany explained that she had recently landed a new job and was celebrating her success with a small indulgence. When she learned that the team from Live! in the Community was there to pay for her items, she was overjoyed. “It does make my day!” she said, clearly delighted by the gesture.

Tea Mochi, which opened its doors in 2023, offers a wide array of delicious options, including boba tea, mochi donuts, and Korean corndogs. Each item is made fresh daily using high-quality ingredients, making it a popular spot among locals.
