Despite the hardships, he sounded upbeat and praised his experience as Hawkeye, stating, "I love all those guys, I love the character."

While the idea of "Hawkeye" appearing in "Avengers: Doomsday" might be ambitious, given that the script is still in development, it's not entirely out of the question. Renner's comments indicate that a second season could still be possible. He told Empire, "I'm sure we'll end up doing season 2, and do other things. And I'm happy to do it. My body's getting ready for something like that. I don't know if anybody wants to see me in tights, but my body will look good in the tights."

Renners' previous hesitation may have stemmed from the pay discrepancy, but now that he has publicly addressed the issue, there's hope that Marvel might reconsider their stance. For Renner, the opportunity to return to the role would be a significant personal victory, showcasing his recovery from the accident. He mentioned being "more than 150 percent of what I was prior to the incident," highlighting his determination and resilience.
