A Reddit user named Drisurk responded, expressing their love for the city but also acknowledging the recent trend of big names visiting and criticizing the city in comparison to Austin, Houston, and Dallas. The user questioned why people would come to San Antonio if they find it unexciting.

Walkability and Public Transit

The most common response from locals was the need to improve walkability and public transit. San Antonio ranks 99th out of 130 cities with populations over 200,000 in terms of walkability, according to Walk Score. With a score of 36.9, it lags behind the average of 48 and is lower than all other major Texas cities.
