“We enjoy meeting with the fans, and our meet and greets have become a thing of legend because they can last a long time,” said Matt Hardy. “We just did a TNA taping in Kingston, Ohio, and after the show, we started signing around 10:45 p.m. and continued until about 2:15 a.m. Then we had a 6 a.m. flight the next day and were at Galaxy Con, where we signed for seven straight hours before wrestling that night.”

It really does remind me of us when we were trying to become professional wrestlers.”

It’s not about clickbait or drama. I want to discuss things honestly.”

“I’m amazed by how many people we’ve inspired,” Matt said. “So many kids say ‘thanks for my childhood’ or tell me that they learned from us to live their own lives and embrace their own style.”

Even within the wrestling community, the Hardys are respected and admired. Many wrestlers have told them that they were inspired by Team Extreme. Some even express disbelief at the opportunity to wrestle them.

“Shawn Michaels used to say that if we needed a guy for a job, we could use the Hardys,” Matt recalled. “He gave me advice about being a dad and real-life stuff, which was nice. Then he said, ‘I wrestled people you inspire. Now nobody cares about me, but you are the guys.’”
