Congressman Mills Threatens to Leak Ex's Nudes, Authorities Warn

Allegations Against Florida Congressman Cory Mills
Recent developments have brought attention to serious allegations against Florida Congressman Cory Mills, who represents the 7th congressional district. The accusations come from Lindsey Langston, a 2024 Miss United States contestant, who has filed an incident report with the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office. According to the report, Langston claims that Mills repeatedly threatened to release explicit photos and videos of her and also made threats against any men she might date in the future.
Langston provided text messages and Instagram conversations as evidence of these claims. Channel 9 obtained screenshots of the alleged messages, which include instances where Langston pleaded for Mills to leave her alone, and he allegedly responded with menacing remarks. One message reportedly includes a statement from Mills suggesting he could send videos to someone else if given their number. Another screenshot shows Langston asking, “Haven’t you hurt me enough?” while Mills is said to have responded with, “Thanks again for the videos.”
The report was submitted on July 14, as confirmed by Steven Khachigan, the Public Information Officer for the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office. He stated that the agency received the report and generated a document based on the information provided by Langston.
Mills issued a statement to Eyewitness News addressing the allegations. In his response, he accused Anthony Sabatini, a Lake County Commissioner and former Florida House Representative, of using the legal system to launch a political attack against him. Mills claimed that the allegations are false and that they misrepresent his interactions. He emphasized his commitment to integrity and service to the 7th District, stating that he would cooperate fully with the investigation to ensure the truth comes to light.
Anthony Sabatini, who represents Langston in this case, has been vocal about the need for accountability. Meanwhile, political reactions have varied. Madison Andrus of the National Democratic Congressional Campaign expressed concern over the allegations, calling them disturbing and questioning Mills’ ability to represent his constituents effectively.
Republican Senator Rick Scott mentioned that he had just learned about the allegations and had not yet reviewed the details. He noted that while he hopes the claims are untrue, he lacks sufficient facts to form a definitive opinion.
The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office has concluded its involvement in the matter, transferring all evidence to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE). Channel 9 has reached out to both Langston and the Governor’s Office for further comments but has not yet received a response.
As the situation unfolds, the public remains attentive to how the legal process will handle these serious claims and what impact they may have on Mills' political career and the broader community.
