A Night of Music and Solidarity for Hill Country

Join CBS News Texas and Chef Tim Love for a special benefit show aimed at supporting the Hill Country as it works to rebuild after devastating flash floods. The event, taking place in person or virtually, is designed to raise critical funds for flood relief efforts following the tragic loss of 137 lives, including 37 children.

The floods caused extensive damage, wiping out homes, stores, and roads, with estimated losses reaching $18-22 billion across Central Texas. On Sunday, August 3, CBS News Texas will host a night of music and storytelling to bring the community together and help those affected by the disaster.

Event Details

The benefit show will take place on Sunday, August 3, at Tannahill's Tavern & Music Hall in the Fort Worth Stockyards from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. CST. Doors will open at 5 p.m., giving attendees time to enjoy the pre-show atmosphere.

Madison Sawyer, a CBS Texas anchor, will serve as the host for the evening. Throughout the night, other anchors such as Nicole Baker and Ken Molestina will make appearances, adding to the energy and excitement of the event.

• Coffey Anderson: Known for his viral YouTube covers and Billboard-charting success, Anderson delivers gospel roots and heartfelt patriotism. His hit "Mr. Red White and Blue" is sure to have the audience singing along.

• Nate Burnham: A Houston-born musician with a passion for honky-tonk storytelling, Burnham’s setlist ranges from humorous tunes like "Firebird" to emotional ballads that leave a lasting impression.

• Grady Spencer: Born in Lubbock and raised outside Paducah, Spencer leads a Fort Worth groove machine that blends country, pop, and rock into one energetic performance.

• David Tribble: A former middle-school science teacher turned songwriter, Tribble’s lyrics feel like hush-hour confessions, making his music perfect for sharing with friends.

Additionally, Annabel Dywer, a Nashville-based musician, will make a special appearance. She gained attention for her tribute song to the victims of the floods, which she will perform at the event.
