Cortisol, commonly known as the “stress hormone,” plays a vital role in regulating various bodily functions such as metabolism, inflammation, blood pressure, and the sleep-wake cycle. While it’s true that cortisol levels naturally fluctuate throughout the day, experts note that these changes are typically beneficial unless linked to chronic stress or underlying health conditions.
The typical recipe for the cortisol cocktail includes ingredients like coconut water for electrolytes, orange or lemon juice for vitamin C, a pinch of salt, and sometimes magnesium powder. Some variations may also include cream of tartar or sparkling water to enhance flavor and fizz.

According to a recent article, the cocktail itself does not have proven health benefits.
