After staying on the ground for almost an hour, the plane took off again at 11:25 PM EDT and landed at 12:23 AM CDT. The entire journey ended up being nearly five hours late. This delay was similar to a recent American Airlines flight from Chicago, though that one was due to mechanical issues rather than weather conditions.
