HO Scale Rolling Stock

Athearn Johnstown America BethGon Coalporter

This five-pack of model train cars offers a high level of detail and accuracy. Features include formed-wire grab irons, etched-metal crossover platforms, and a factory-applied brake wheel. Each car also has removable coal loads and multiple road numbers. The model comes with 36" machined metal wheels that feature RP-25 contours. It will be released in December 2026, with road names including Conrail, CIT Group, Entergy Corp., and Minneapolis & St. Louis.

Athearn Genesis Pullman-Standard PS-2 2893 Covered Hopper

This single-unit model features freestanding round roof hatches, factory-applied wire grab irons, and detailed underframe components such as a separate brake cylinder, valve, and air reservoir. Additional features include photo-etched metal running boards, detailed outlets, and 33" nickel silver wheelsets. The release date is set for December 2026, with road names including Atlantic Sugar Refineries Ltd., Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe, Missouri-Kansas-Texas, Monon, Soo Line, and Southern Pacific.

Rapido Halliburton Pneumatic Railcar

Available as a single unit or in a six-pack, this model is based on original blueprints and measurements. It includes full underbody details, separate metal grab irons, and a stainless steel metal roofwalk. The railcar also features semi-scale metal knuckle couplers and roller-bearing trucks with metal wheelsets. A suggested minimum radius of 18 inches is recommended. It will be available in gray and red but without lettering. Road names include various versions of Halliburton from the 1960s through the 1990s.

O Scale Rolling Stock

Atlas O Trainman Bulkhead Flatcar

This model includes both bulkhead and short-bulkhead flatcars, as well as a 68-foot flatcar. Features such as side stake pockets, simulated tie-loops, and fish-belly center sills add realism. The model also includes pull plate and lift ring details, with a minimum radius of 36 inches. This model includes etched-metal running boards, positionable doors, and blackened metal wheels. It also features AutoLatch couplers and is available as a single unit or in a two-pack. The release date is still pending, with the Southern Ry. as one of the featured road names.
