Pete Davidson's Excitement About Becoming a Father

Pete Davidson is thrilled about the upcoming arrival of his first child with his girlfriend, Elsie Hewitt. The comedian recently shared the news in an exclusive interview, expressing his joy and anticipation for the new chapter in his life. He spoke about how excited he is to become a father and the importance of having the right person by his side.

Davidson mentioned that Hewitt is "wonderful" and that he's looking forward to seeing her as a mother. He emphasized that this is a dream come true for him and that he couldn't be happier to share it with someone special. The couple has been dating for over a year, and their relationship has remained relatively private despite the media attention surrounding them.

Reactions from Friends and Family

Davidson also talked about how his friends and family have reacted to the news. He said they are all excited for him and understand that becoming a father is a significant step in his life. "They know that that's my dream," he said, highlighting the support he has received from those around him.

He made it clear that being a father is now his top priority. "Baby comes first," he said. "What's great about it is that you realize that this is just a job. It'll have to be a very good job for me to leave that."

Elsie Hewitt Shares the News on Social Media

Elsie Hewitt shared the news of the pregnancy on Instagram, posting several photos of herself and Davidson over the past weeks. One of the posts included a photo of the baby's first sonogram, which she captioned with humor: "Welp now everyone knows we had sex." She also added some memes to the post, showing her playful side.

A New Role in Horror Film

In addition to his exciting personal life, Davidson is also diving into a new genre with his upcoming movie, "The Home." This horror project marks his first lead role in a non-comedy film, something that was both scary and exciting for him.

"I'm scared to deviate from comedy," he admitted. "Sometimes you get sent stuff and you're like, I don't know how that's gonna work with me. Or there's not an element of trust. But I've known James [DeMonaco, the director] forever. So I know he wasn't gonna make me look bad."

James DeMonaco praised Davidson for his performance, stating that he adapted to the script and role instantly. "He nailed it," DeMonaco said. "He's working with theater-trained actors and Shakespearean actors, and Pete just effortlessly entered into that game."

Exploring a Creepy Retirement Home

"The Home" is directed and co-written by DeMonaco, who is best known for his work on the "The Purge" movies. The film stars Davidson as a rebellious guy who is sentenced to community service at a retirement home. Once there, he is warned about the residents on the fourth floor, who are under special care and not allowed to interact with others.

Of course, he can't resist digging deeper and uncovering some terrifying secrets. The film is set to premiere in theaters on July 25th.

A More Private Life

Davidson and Hewitt confirmed their relationship earlier this year after being photographed together on a beach. While both are in the entertainment industry, Davidson has chosen to keep his personal life more private.

In the past, Davidson has spoken about the challenges of being in the public eye due to his dating life. He shared how it was "pretty humiliating and upsetting" for him, especially given the constant media attention. "Everyone is dating everyone and it’s Hollywood. Look at Paul Mescal, Timmy Chalamet, Barry Keoughan. But because I’m ugly, they wrote about me. I was harassed for like five years and it made my life a living hell."

He added that while he wanted people to focus on his work, all they could do was focus on his love life. "I was one of the youngest ever cast members on 'SNL' and all that got pushed to the side because of who I was dating," he said.
