She highlighted that he had two young sons and that his wife was pregnant with their third child.

As the shooting continued, Tamura moved up to the 33rd floor, where he killed another person before turning the gun on himself. Officials revealed that Tamura had traveled across the country, moving through Colorado, Nebraska, and Iowa before arriving in New Jersey just hours before the attack. His car was found to contain medication prescribed for him, and law enforcement noted that he had a documented mental health history.
