Charles Oakley Opens Up About His Past Relationship with Shereé Whitfield

Charles Oakley, the NBA legend and husband of Angela Oakley, recently shared new details about his past relationship with Shereé Whitfield during a reunion episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 16. The conversation took place in Part 3 of the reunion, where host Phaedra Parks asked Charles about his history with Shereé.

“I know Shereé very well, and I remember when y’all were a couple at one point,” Parks said to Oakley, who confirmed the connection. “Me and Shereé [were] a couple.” Reunion host Andy Cohen then pressed Oakley for more information about their relationship.

Oakley revealed that the relationship occurred nearly 20 years ago and lasted for “a couple of years.” He described how they were “going places, doing things” and even traveled to Dubai and around the country. “We were moving,” he added.

This revelation comes after rumors surfaced earlier this year suggesting that Oakley had been involved with Whitfield before marrying Angela. When asked about the rumors on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Angela responded by acknowledging that her husband had dated many women in the past.

“I think the rumors are true,” she said. “But it’s nothing we talk about. So no, I don’t run into Shereé, and that’s that.”
